Meet Jeanine Banza Katungutere

Registered Nurse. Author. Christian Storyteller. Mother. Advocate for Child Safety.

Born in Katana, Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, Jeanine Banza’s journey is rooted in compassion, faith, and service. She has spent over 30 years as a maternal-newborn nurse, caring for mothers and children in both medical and spiritual ways. Today, she serves families in Dallas, Texas, as a certified mother-and-baby nurse and community mentor.

Jeanine’s calling extends far beyond the hospital. She is a storyteller and educator dedicated to helping children and young women embrace their God-given identity. Her work combines faith-based teaching with practical tools for parents and caregivers, guiding them to speak truth and love into sensitive topics like body safety, boundaries, and self-worth.

Her passion was shaped by her own experiences of fear and silence. As a child, Jeanine struggled with deep shyness caused by bullying and later faced anxiety after the COVID-19 pandemic. Through faith and perseverance, she learned to transform fear into strength—a message she now shares with others.

She is also a humanitarian, actively supporting women and children in war-torn regions of Congo who have suffered from sexual violence. Alongside her husband, she helps fund community projects that provide education and healing for survivors.

Jeanine’s life is proof that faith and courage can turn pain into purpose. Through her teaching, she empowers others to do the same, to raise children who are confident, safe, and anchored in the truth of God’s Word.
